  • Q How to deal with overheating of the winding during operation of the dry-type transformer?

    A Overheating of the winding may be caused by overload, poor heat dissipation or insulation aging. It is recommended to check the thermostat data regularly to ensure the three-phase temperature balance (≤155℃); clean the dust in the ventilation duct and cooling fan to maintain air circulation; if the insulation resistance of the winding is found to be reduced (megohmmeter is required for detection), it is necessary to turn off the power and dry it. Our company provides annual preventive maintenance services, including infrared thermal imaging detection, which can identify overheating hazards in advance.
  • Q What should I do if the oil-immersed transformer has oil leakage or abnormal oil level?

    A Oil leakage is mostly caused by aging of seals or loose welding points. Our company promises to respond within 48 hours and arrive on site within 24 hours in the province. If the oil level is abnormal, check the status of the oil storage cabinet capsule/diaphragm and the smoothness of the respirator, and replenish or replace the transformer oil if necessary. For oil-immersed transformers, our company provides oil sample testing services, and predicts internal faults (such as inter-turn short circuits) through chromatographic analysis. Historical data shows that the fault identification accuracy rate is 92%.
  • Q How to deal with power outages caused by substation bus failure?

    A Bus failures may be caused by short circuits, insulator flashovers or operating errors. For substation customers, our company provides customized maintenance solutions, including bus infrared temperature measurement, insulator cleaning and DC system grounding detection.   • Q Is there a charge for maintenance during the transformer warranty period?

    A Our company strictly implements the distinction between "guarantee repair" and "warranty": during the warranty period, for faults caused by manufacturing defects (such as multi-point grounding of the core, DC resistance of the winding exceeds the standard), free maintenance and parts replacement are provided; due to improper use (such as overload operation) or outside the warranty period, only the material cost is charged. All services are accompanied by test reports and fee details to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Q How to extend the design life of the transformer to 30 years?

    Full-cycle management is required:
     
    Operation phase: Install the EHMS online monitoring system to track insulation status, load rate and temperature data in real time;
    Maintenance phase: Perform a core inspection every 3 years, focusing on the insulation resistance of the core clamps (need to be ≥200MΩ) and the deformation of the windings;
    Upgrade phase: After 15 years of use, intelligent transformation services can be provided, and IoT modules and intelligent temperature control units can be added. Our company's historical data shows that the actual life of equipment that has been properly maintained can reach 32-35 years, far exceeding the industry standard.
